Default P500 -> p525

Have any of you guys changed the engine out put settings that currently have the p500 to reflect the p525? I found the engine power output config and did not realize this was the same engine just dumbed down on the programming.

I ordered a TDI tuner the other day then discovered this, thoughts ?

This is the Jaguar Land Rover 5.0 V8 supercharged engine. Has been around for 16+ years and many in the Jaguar community have tuned it to higher power output. I've had three of them over the years

Velocity AP (VAP) who sponsor the Jag forum have tuned many of these. I have this engine at 575hp in my Jag. It's just a tuning difference. VAP have done hundreds of these into the 625hp or more. Can do a straight tune for more power or a pulley and tune for an even bigger jump. Look on JaguarForums for lots more details or give them a call.

JLR have released them at 470hp, 490hp, 500hp, 525hp, 550hp and 575hp over the years. All the same engine.

I would recommend OEMactivations.com. Input your VIN on their website and you will find out what can be done for your car. Garrett there is great to deal with.
