Default Is this Panel Removable? What's underneath?

On a V8 2023.5, is this panel removable separately from the larger side panel? I tried pulling on it and there is some give, could not tell if it was removable or it was just flexing the larger side panel when I tried to pull it. Does any one have a picture of what is below this bulge (hopefully with a car that has the related vent blower on that side).

Thank you in advance for any input.

Alberto

It's fused ("plastic welded") to the side panel, unlike the fuse panel that looks similar on the other side.. So it doesn't pull off. Kind of surprising, I think they should have made it removable but... I digress. It covers the rear AC equipment / rear AC blower motor.

Thank you. Thats is helpful. I'm hoping there is space in there to hide some wires to add some usb ports to the left.

I mounted some usb ports to the top area between the hooks. I just used a fish tape to get the wire behind that panel and down below the trunk floor

Thinking along a similar, but different, line. Can you post pictures of your set up?

Here you go. Not the best pictures as we are currently on a two months road trip and are packed full

Thank you, very helpful. If you happened to have taken pictures as you were routing the wires, I would greatly appreciate it if you could post them when you can. It would be helpful to me to see what is behind the panel to get an idea of how one might route things. But either way, thank you very much.

No pictures while routing. I tend to get pictures before and after and forget will doing the actual work, mainly because I am usually cursing because of some stupid mistake or part that won't move while doing the actual work. The best picture I have is below. On the left hand side you can see four wires with anderson powerpoles next to the foam block. I fished those wires down from behind the panel. It took awhile. I tried to stay towards the back of the vehicle as there is a fan behind that bump out for the rear AC. You will need to take out the floor and the two side wings the floor sits on. I guess you don't have to, but it will make life easier. Also the foam. You could remove the whole panel from the side but that involves removing a whole bunch of stuff. Take a look at the powerfulUK video's. Simon has a good video of how to remove the side panels if you go that route. The passenger side is easy to fish wire through as it does not have as much stuff in the way.

Did you install a battery tender hook up in this?

Thank you for the picture. I take it you only partially released the left side panel then and there was enough space to fish the wires then? I saw the Powerfuluk video. I would much rather not tear off that side panel. It's unfortunate that his car did not also have the vent/cooling bump out there, as it would be helpful to see what obstructions might be there.

Thanks again for your help.
