Picking up a roof rack in a 110...
Def will not fit inside. Tried that. What I did ... I took my old D2 which has a safety devices safari rack. Strapped the box to that. Drove it home.
Other than renting a big truck or pickup, that was my best option.
Another idea I was entertaining... is to carry it out of the parts depot door, and install it (1-2 hours max) in the parking lot of the dealer. They'd love that !

as nashvegas said, it will NOT fit inside a 110 - in or out of the box. too wide, even on a diagonal. if it's not at the dealer yet, ask them to have it sent to your house. or if it's already there, i bet they'd deliver it (assuming you're relatively close). otherwise plan to have a friend with a pickup or larger truck go with you or just do the install at the dealership.
I tried and failed. It does not fit.
I rented a Uhaul for about $50.
Debated on installing it in the parking lot of the service dept after they'd closed but decided it was a little too obnoxious an option.
