Pivi pro update 3.3.1 installed

I’ll be the first to report back here having successfully installed the update (sorry to all who are having issues)
I took a short drive in the city. The Defender no longer jerks off the line like it’s being driven by your 12 year old son for the first time in a Kaiser parking lot when you activate the brake Hold function or the engine auto stop kicks in!
Smooth takeoffs are a major bonus.
Interested to test it under highway and offroad conditions as well.

Got the prompt to update from 3.3.0 to 3.3.1 this evening. Up side - no drama (unlike update TO 3.3.0 during a road trip) - and worked as expected and advertised connected to my home WiFi
Haven't had a chance to test what I've read - perhaps tomorrow will yield some time for field testing

good to know. i had seen other posts where updates failed to install over cellular… and the issue was resolved by turning off cellular, and staying connected to home wifi.
will give the cellular route a go… but the not staying connected to home wifi is odd.
and if you cant ota update over a wifi connection at home, why include that functionality. carplay uses wifi, but in other cars i have owned the wifi was for carplay only and could not connect to a home network.
plan on trying cellular and will keep you all posted.
thanks for the feedback!

The update itself was a great improvement. Wireless charger is now flawless. It does not say anything about engine mapping, but it feels much better the acceleration and throttle modulation. Maybe it's placebo, who knows. After reading some of the horror stories in other threads, I am just happy the car did not throw any codes or faulty items.

Does anyone know if 3.3.1 applies to a P300? Our 2022 P400 received the 3.3.1 update immediately. Our 2023 P300 hasn't received it, and it's been a week since the 2022 received it. Both cars are signed into the same InControl account and connected to the same in-home Wifi (in the garage).

I got this update and suddenly when I use the button to lock my doors from outside, it locks fine and my mirrors turn in as they should. Then I can no longer unlock my Defender using that button. I have to take the keyfob out and unlock it. I know it should have nothing to do with this software update but it worked find every day up until this software updated and now it doesn't.

Not sure if it's related to my update, but I typically hate adaptive cruise control on highways. I'm not hyper aggressive (usually) and mainly cruise at 5+ speed limit. Often some maniac is diving in front of me and the ACC will slam on the brakes. With the new update, it is MUCH better at reacting to those incidents. Not sure if it's related, though.
"There's only two kinds of drivers on the road: morons and maniacs. Morons are all the people going slower than me. Maniacs are all the people going faster than me." LOVE THAT. Just wish I remember the comedian I heard it from.
