Default Pivi Pro Update - Dealer says NO

Another crazy question - my new 2025 Defender I took delivery of in early May, still shows not data for the PiviPro software update - no date or version number. I have been waiting for a new update to come out as I'm missing the updates from 4.3.x I had installed on my 2022 Defender I traded in.

I asked the dealer today to please update the software and they said they could not do it - not possible - I would just need to wait for an OTA update to become available - is this true or BS?

Have any of you had the dealer update your software?

Losing confidence in my dealer / new service advisor!

Thanks!

My 2025 OCTA has same message. Going in for oil change in two weeks and will ask my dealer.

I requested as well a while back and they said can't update anything higher than current OTA update version.

I'm pretty sure you can't update it until your car first gets an update on its own. After that then the dealer can force a software update. You'll get it eventually!

One or two sentences explaining the sequence of OTA’s in the Manuel would reduce the forum comments by about 1/3.

Very true Jim 90!

I'll just hang tight for a future update - thank everyone for the feedback!

I'm loving my Sedona Edition!

I think almost everyone's went through the same cycle. It doesn't show your factory installed version, just that you have the latest and/or no updates available, and only when you get a newer revision will you see what you have and when it was installed. The other thing is mine tends to like to pull down updates after a decently long drive or a period of regular driving, and when the 12v battery is well charged. I just got and installed 4.3.1 a couple of weeks back and again it followed that pattern.
