I am sorry to hear that. I have had several orders with them including rear bumper cover plate, rear Molle panel, two side Molle panels, rear side bars, and some assorted roof rack accessories. They have shipped quickly, transit times have been good with DHL. All worked out good except on one occasion there was a fitment concern on one of the side Molle panels. They responded promptly and fairly to queries, and shipped new connectors for it immediately, and frankly it was my installation error. All of this has been scattered from November through June if that makes any difference. They remain high on my list of vendors. I have not the rear bumper exposed to real high temps, and replaced the entire bumper recently, so can't speak to it beyond being very satisfied while I had the piece on and it was stepped on a lot when the roof rack. I hope others experiences improve.

That's a bummer. I've reached out several times through their contact me link and have always received a reply. In fact I sent something Friday and got well thought out guidance for my question by this morning. They sent two videos that would help me solve a related question even though they hadn't made a special video for the product I wanted.

I've ordered from them three times and have been pleased with the products, service, and quality. One thing, though, is that I have had each of the purchases shipped to family or hotel in the UK where I was visiting.

I think the response about the products not being designed for Florida heat is actually a reasonable one. These are products designed and sold in the UK and that country doesn't ever get temperatures like large parts of the southern US. It's not practical for a small company to design and test their products for extreme weather conditions in countries far from their home market.

Having said that, if I were you I would try smooth-on industrial epoxy which I have used for bonding different materials (rubber, fiberglas, metal) in extreme heat and cold (

It's 93 degrees in parts of the UK today. Warmer than Orlando today. I don't think that argument holds much water. If they are going to say they can't verify suitability for warm climates, that needs to be pre-sale warning, not a post-sale excuse.

OK - so we are comparing one of the hottest days in history in the UK with an everyday summer high temp in the southern US?

Seems reasonable to me.

It's more reasonable than the excuses you're making for shoddy products.

One day of exposure is not the same as an entire summer of exposure, so yes the argument that these parts are not weather tested for extreme heat is plausible.

The question to Simon would need to be what level of weather testing is done before offering a part to market. If you've followed him for any length of time you'll see that he does test in market more than he tests out of market.

Put some 5200 on there and call it a day, you'll never get them off once the 5200 has cured.

l've had a few items from Powerful U.K. and all have been fine.

These have been

Rear scuff plate
Defender stickers
Chrome trim rings
Rear towing eyes and trims
Interior trim parts

All have been perfect. l guess it depends on where they are sourcing the parts.

The rear towing eyes and rear scuff plate were genuine LR parts.

3M tape seems to be a good way to secure things such as the plastic covers that fell off those rear steps.
lt has to be genuine 3M tape though.

My aftermarket headlight protectors came with what looked like 3M tape, but on the first really hot day one of them just fell off while the vehicle was parked.
l replaced the tape with 3M and they've been fine since.

Maybe you or someone else might be able to get the answer to my question if you already have an open dialogue going with them. All I want to know is what is the estimated weight capacity for the quick release awning mounting system for the 110?
