So I've had a Front Runner slimline 2 roof rack for a while now and just recently got an LED light bar to mount to the front of it. Problem is nobody has a really good idea as to how to get it wired. Have any of you wired a roof top accessory and if so how? Thanks!

 

I ran wires for solar from the rear compartment. The a-pillar doesn't seem to have enough clearance for heavy cables.

They did a GREAT service to the community with these, so buy a t-shirt or throw them a shout out if it helps. Better yet, buy something! They have a lot of quality options.

For wiring into the engine compartment, i think people generally use the roof channel to under the A pillar cover.

i’m planning on doing that for possibly the lazer lamps roof pods, if/when i can get over my nervousness regarding having to splice into the headlight assemblies to enable them with auto highbeams
