Default Prospeed rack

Just installed a rack on my friend’s 110. Prospeed always comes through. Shout out to @ORDPA for his posts which ensured my success. Not much info online regarding the feet installation.

Wow! I think that’s it. Have been looking for a flat/low profile roof rack. Did you do a road test? Wondering about wind noise… looks like it would be pretty quiet.

Welp, appears I got excited for nothing. The UK website does not appear to have a D130 option. The US Prospeed does not appear to make Defender racks. Where did you order from?

Looks bit skeletal. Not enough bars or flat areas for my liking. Seems more form over function. Youve lost all the rear starage area the OEM confers.

Always a compromise I guess.

Noise is such a inimal concern to me. The gear on the rack makes the biggest racket. Low profile becomes moot.

Nice rack though. Giggity.

Noise not a big deal to me… but my D130 is also my family road trip vehicle, most road trips with nothing on the rack, so needs to be quiet to keep the boss happy.

Low profile is for my garage. The perfect rack height is 1/4 inch higher than the shark fin in the back. That way the rack scrapes before the shark fin gets knocked off, just in case I forget to put it in access height.

We had a shipping broker pick up from them. They won’t ship here.

They sell floor sections that span the gaps of the bars.

Wow, so clean, low, and snug compared to my super-noisy Front Runner!
