It definitely is that easy to pop out. But obviously if u have heated back seats probably have to take it slow... Not sure how long the wiring is for that.
I was just looking at that back seat situation on my new 23 v8 90.
Turns out mine was made prior to the update to where that bottom seat cushion can tumble forward.
I was confused since I had seen a video showing how to make it fold flat on a 2023.
Apparently that was a mid-year change, and mince was built prior to that update.
This was the video I had watched making me think it was going to be just like my old 2 door Bronco and that seat bottom would fold out of the way of the seat backs.
Now, I would love to have one of these for the tail to make it all one level.
Anyone know the part number for this box? I am not seeing it in the LR accessory website.
That video of the just popping that cushion out is going to have to work.

I ordered one of these for my 2021 D90. LR190078 was the part number. I also noticed that Lucky8 had them on their site now (at quite a bit higher price that came out pretty close after I paid UK shipping to the US for mine)

You won't need lift rods if you have a GAP tool.
Gap tool will give you an on demand lift for however long you want. Minutes or months. Multiple customizable lift options. It essentially renders lift rods obsolete.

I found a video describing how that works with the setting of your ride heights with the GAP tool.
Very cool.
However, I was not able to get the rods canceled in time.

I'm mighty tempted to start a wiki on all the GAP tool settings and which settings do what. (Another of the MANY projects I dream of starting....)

I'm a royal PITA when it comes to this little tool. The activations are cool but it does so much more. When you look at the money spent on lift rods, LLAMS kits etc. GAP is essentially a LLAMS with no installation that you can control with your phone. Or a lift rod you can install with a few clicks on your device.
On the trail the other day.
Airing down after a 90 minute drive at stock height I added a 1" lift.
Later on encountering a big rocky staircase-like obstacle I changed to a ~2" lift just for that obstacle and then back to 1".
Airing up after a day of fun and I'm back to normal ride height again. Also I have my tire pressure live values on my phone so I can set up my inflator and chill as I watch the values change. Prancing about feeling all cool with my GAP tool, throwing up GAPster signs like a boss as my compressor does its thing. I wedge the inflator between tire and ground or arch so I don't need to hold it like some sore of non-GAP wielding unfortunate.

that is a great idea. I have the new gap tool but have not used it yet as I have been traveling.
