Default Question about Head Up Display with CarPlay

Hey folk!

I’m currently building my Defender 90 and I’m considering whether or not to add the head up display option. My question is does HUD works with CarPlay’s navigation system? I know HUD can project LR’s map navigation but can I use it to display, say, Google Maps navigation direction to the glass?

Thank you!

No it does not. It really PEEVES me. The nav only functions with the OEM nav on PiviPro. I set it to show current speed and below it shows Cruise speed & current speed (based on Speed Limits that the camera behind the mirror picks up). When I go into some of the more hard core off-road settings & low speed it will switch to some of the off-road information. I love it, but have no idea how to tune it when those settings happen.

I'm a huge fan of the HUD, but it REALLY sucks that it won't do 3rd party navs.

There are several apps for the iPhone that turn it into a HUD, you might download some and see if they work for you.
