Default Radiator fan LOUD

Just picked up a 2023 D90 (4 cyl.) this week - Is anyones else's radiator fan abnormally loud after parking/shutting down? Feel like I am on set at the Top Gun filming lol. Other than that the D90 has been great so far!

great looking rig! totally normal for the fan to run after it's parked on the p300.

Yes on hot days it is very loud for a few minutes. Sounds worse when parked in an attached garage. As someone said, I prefer that to an under-cooled engine sitting there with a massive heat soak..

Beautiful rig! I knew I should've checked the tan interior box. oh well for me. Tasmanian blue is the best color.

It’s definitely pretty loud after a drive on a hot day but has turned off after a minute or so in my experience.

It's on an old school clutch and it will be excessively loud on start up, but should quiet down once the car is warm and your driving.

@DonMitsu - the viscous fan that might roar at startup a bit, is different from the electric fan that stays on after Defender is turned off

@Defend1 - I think it's probably normal. It does go off after 5-10 minutes though, is that correct? PS How hot is it where you are?
