Radio on with engine switched off
Several times I wait in my car for long time (especially when my wife does the shopping ...). But I'm fed up with switching on the ignition every couple of minutes to get the radio operating. I know I can switch the radio on also with media on/off button, but the system turns off after some minutes.
In short: is there a way to make radio (and media system) operate longer?
Thank you!

there isn't an accessory mode for the ignition? like on other cars I've owned you hit the start button without touching the break, it doesn't start the car but turns on the accessory mode which powers up everything but the AC / Engine subsystems. I haven't gotten mine yet to see if that exists, but it's been in most cars for decades. Used to be the first click on the car keys back in olden times when you got a square and round key.

I remember seeing some settings in the ccf architecture. For example I turned off my interior lights when opening the trunk because when we camp we sleep in the back of the vehicle with the seats down and now when i open and close the trunk door the lights don’t come on and attract bugs. If you live in Los Angeles and want to hire me I’m happy to experiment and see if I can keep the radio on thru the settings. Mark 323 237 9773
