Default Random Black Tube?

Good evening,

I noticed some liquid in the engine (4 cylinder) compartment in the front of the engine on the passenger side. After a lot of searching, I found the source of the liquid to be a rubber hose that runs along the filler neck for the window washer fluid. It just fits into a housing on the filler neck, not hooked up to anything.

I'm sure it's designed to allow whatever liquid to pass through it. I'd like to know what it is and what fluid it's allowing to flow through it.

Anyone know?

Following. When I was cleaning the engine bay last weekend for the first time (had our 130 for 3 weeks), that little hose got dislodged. Curious to know what it is/what it does. I didn’t see anywhere it connects, and just assumed it was a vent hose of some kind.

Just a return / vent hose back to the screenwasher reservoir.

Thanks! So it’s just a vent then. I thought I had disconnected it from something, but couldn’t find anything to attach it to. Just clipped it in to the notch, where it is tucked up under the filler cap.
