Help appreciated. Someone backed into my Defender last night and the only damage was the plastic on the left rear wheel arch side marker. I believe the part number is “LR183587” but can’t find any assembly instructions.
It seems like a DIY vs.
going to the dealer but not sure. Recommendations welcomed! TYIA
My right rear marker light is out and when I looked for a replacement bulb at the local auto parts store, the book said "LED". I popped into the dealer, and they happened to have a wheel arch they recently replaced on hand and showed me how the light doesn't just snap in, but rather looks to be more "fused or melted" in place.
Looks like you need to pop the wheel arch molding off to play with it. Make sure you have extra clips before you start the project as a few always seem to snap
Not sure if I should order a replacement light online or the whole molding piece or just ignore the nonfunctioning light
