Will there be front recover eyes or hooks made available from Land Rover or from aftermarket retailers?

Is there an aftermarket product line already available for the new Defender?

Thanks,
Yes they can be ordered separately they can come in Satin Black and Orange. The Orange ones are on Back Order until August but the black ones are avail.

Part numbers are LR139442 65.00 for satin black
LR138315 63.50 for Orange.

They do require to remove the bumper and it comes with a bracket and hook.

Yes You can get the Recovery Hooks Separate I just found them in the Parts Catalog. I thought I would share with this thread since I was looking myself. I confirmed that it does come with the Hook. They are avail in Satin Black Now and The L'Orange Hooks are on Back order until August.

The Part Numbers are:
Satin Black Recovery Hook LR139442 retails for 53.22
L'Orange Recovery Hook LR138315 retails for 51.76
Mounting Bolts LR033214 need 8 retail for 4.29 each

The Bumper Comes off and they get bolted on and the bumper slides on over them through the cutouts. The Diagram does not show the hooks but I verified with another Dealer that they do come with the bracket.

Hey guys,

I’m adding tow hooks and really struggling removing the rear bumper. I’ve removed everything as instructed and for some reason something is holding it back from completely coming off. I cannot figure it out.

Any ideas? Need help please.

I’m in SF if there’s anyone local who knows how to help.

Thank you.

It was two screws totally out of view. Can’t believe I missed them. All and all though it’s an easy job. Just gotta pay attention lol.

Im so glad I tackled it. Have wanted to since I bought the rig a year and a half ago. I was also putting it off because I had put classic flaps on it a month after getting it. That job was a bit annoying and didn’t want to undo.

Anyway, I’m happy now. Went with the orange/red OEM hooks.

They look awesome on Tasman Defenders and, as such, I am installing them on mine when it arrives.

Nice work! Looks great!!

I did mine within the last couple of weeks and had a similar challenge. What I discovered is there were more screws on mine (NA with towing) then on Simon's in his video. So a couple of sneaky ones delayed me a bit.
