The "Vehicle Lock Reminders" used to work for me in the US. Stopped working maybe over a year ago. I'm still on the old app.

 

I'm on 3.0.2, and the 'Guardian Mode' is directly below 'Vehicle Lock Reminders' in Security. Not sure why I have it and others don't, but it never worked, nor the 'Lock Reminders'. But I will try them again. Fingers crossed.

 

Lock reminders work for me on 3.0.2.

 

I am using an iPhone, but the picture you provided of the version on your Android is what mine opening screen looked like before the new update.

 

Guardian mode, when activated, will “Monitor vehicle interactions and provides an alert if any interference occurs. This includes events such as:
-Vehicle being unlocked
-Vehicle being started
-Doors are opened

When toggling on Guardian mode, you are given a message that says: ‘GUARDIAN MODE WILL BE ENABLED UNTIL’ , and a date and time duration you can set.

IMHO, these may be considered valuable extra security options for those who choose to use them. I personally love the app for its many features and use it almost daily.

 

I have used guardian mode and vehicle lock reminders on the old version of the app in the US for several years. Worked well. Now with the new app on an apple phone they still work
New app is a lot cleaner and quicker to use.

 

My wifes new Lexus app is a PITA. I have my Defender for 3 years and have no need for the App. Not getting it.

 

So, you’re saying because the Lexus app sucks, you have no need for the JLR app, and you won’t even try it. Even though the many posts here have users who give it a thumbs up. Your Defender, your choice. SMH.

After the new update, (which now finally appears to be fixed) it got a lot more user friendly. No need to go through three different menus to use remote start now that there's a quick start button on the homepage. The Lexus app is terrible. My buddy has it on his IS and it doesn't even allow you to select the temperature, and sets the temperature to what it was before the last ignition cycle.
