Remote app - clearing status messages
Does anyone know how to clear spurious status messages from the Remote app (iOS)? My app shows an engine fault but there isn’t one – the engine runs fine, no dashboard lights, and no diagnostics trouble codes reported from the Gap IIDTool (new beta for Defender 2020+). I’m sure this is a false-positive. The security state, range, journeys, etc. all update fine after a couple of seconds.
I’ve tried logging off, removing the app, restarting the phone and re-installing, etc. I’ve a feeling the status is held remotely in the LR Telematics system and only they can clear it.

My LR Remote app constantly shows Status - Driving. Tried deleting and reinstalling, pressing overhead button for 15 seconds, locking the car, driving numerous miles but it keeps spinning indicating Driving. Previous versions of Remote app worked fine for years but the latest version is very broken.
Maybe I’ll try next to disconnect the battery.

Land Rover cleared the status. The process was quick and efficient. Call the customer relationship center, explain the problem, they'll email you and you'll need to reply with screenshots of the app. They then open a technical ticket and call you back when it's resolved. Whole process took less than 24 hours.
