Has anyone attempted? We only have one child at the moment, so they'll be saved for down the road, and in the meantime I'd like to utilize that space for storage, additional battery, etc.

I started in on getting them out, but it was freezing out, so I opted to wait.

 

im wondering the same. just worried about it throwing codes for airbags.

I did in fact do it. There’s a ton of room back there once the seat has been removed and it’s fairly easy to reinstall it should you want to switch back - I removed everything I had installed and put the seat back before selling the vehicle.

 

How did you handle the airbags?
