I bought mine in Aug so I was happy with the stock tires till the weather got bad in Nov and then had to switch right away. Bad under-steer with the stock tires and found myself plowing through corners when it was frosty. No issues since.

Just to pile on - Falken Wildpeak. I did a ton of research before my purchase and after seeing many complaints about the KO2's in wet (on various forums for all sorts of different vehicles), I ruled them out.
There was just someone on the Facebook New Defenders group complaining a day or two back about their KO2's. Maybe when they bring out the KO3 (rumor is this year...), it will be better in rain.

I've put 1500 miles on my KO2's... stock 20" wheels, 1.5 rod lift, 275/60/R20 (so 33" instead of 32" as stock)
I wish I'd bought Wildpeaks. I bought KO2's as Tire Rack at the time had Wildpeaks on backorder.
I have Wildpeaks on 2 other Rovers, and on each I noticed either LESS or equivalent tire noise to whatever was on there before (in both cases standard on road tires). With the KO2's I'm reminded of my high school truck humming down the road. It's cool and not too bad, and I don't mind it but... I think the Wildpeak is likely less noisy. BTW I drove thru the "atmospheric rivers" in Cali all last week and no issues with these new KO2's in rain.
Either way the KO2's look absolutely badass and are a huge improvement to the stock AT tires... so there's a bright side.

Have 38k miles on my 2021 Defender Dynamic X and the Goodyears are getting worn. Had my first incidence of rain hydroplaning/slippage the other day. I have the 20" factory grey rims. My driving is about 25% off-road, mainly sand, gravel, light rocks, etc. No snow. Travel mainly in SE, SW and W. Have researched A/T tires a lot. Given I'm not a rock climber nor snow bird, had narrowed it down to the Cooper Discoverer AT3 4S. My question has to do with what will go on my rims. The factor says 255x60R20. The coopers only come in 255x50R20, 265x50R20, 275x55R20, and 275x60R20. Any assistance would be appreciated. Oh, BTW, the Goodyears were rated way below this tire and many others in almost every category, but I will say that I have not been disappointed in them that much. Just ready for a switch.
UPDATE. Just put on the Coopers. 275R55/20's on factory rims. Awesome fit. Comfort and road noice drastically reduced. Went through multiple wash board situations and little noice at all and I have the tires inflated to 47 front and 50 rear. So far, very happy owner!!!

Hi - Looks like you had the Goodyear Wrangler tires. Did you try the Goodyear All Terrain with Kevlar? Or the Duratrac? The star rating on those look good, but.... what's been the experience of someone who's driven with them? The thought of hydroplaning a 2 1/2 ton Defender is nuts - it should never happen.
