@CombatNinja Interesting. But a auestion. What does the rack have to do with the a-pillar trim - I may not be zooming into the pics enough? To me it looks like it has no interference / no interaction with a-pillar trim.

7. Mounting requires no cutting or drilling. The a pillar trims need to be removed, and nut certs installed in existing holes to mount the front supports. A bit of shaving is required on the plastic a pillar trim support to give clearance for brackets.

Also, why does it run 'uphill' from front to back? The horizontal side rail definitely starts rising aft of the alpine window. Is that on purpose to clear the antenna, or just a fitment thing at this time that will be corrected? It looks weird once you see it. I'm still feeling a version that stops around the B-pillar of the 110. I don't want to pull apart my highly suspect (and twice 'repaired' A-pillars).

In regards to the A-Pillar input, I can see the hesitation to "mucking about" with it.
On the 110, the rack would be considerably larger, I would think if there was 3 rack mounting points on the factory rails, and then a "no-drill" foot at the front would be sufficient.
My Toyota racks all had this, essentially a pressure foot, with rubber contact point that transfered weight to the roof, because an additional bolting down was not necessary, but a weight distribution was.
Changing the front foot from a bolt, to a foot would be ideal for me if it were possible. I love everything else about it. I
