Default Rubber dash tray/mat doesn't sit flush

This corner popped out, the rubber insert underneath it is kind hard to push back to the hole, is it because the rubber shrunk or expanded from the temperature?
has anyone experienced the same issue?

I have not had this issue -- but I believe this piece haslittle rubber tabs / nibs under it that "press in" to the dashboard, to help hold it down. Might want to pull the whole rubber slab off and try to re-seat it. It just literally pulls off, gently.

I removed mine when I swapped the dashboard USB port for a USB-C from the dumb USB-A that came with my 2020.
