Do 20-22 defenders come with a different seat leather/cloth design in the middle section area than the 23 models? The earlier model seats are much nicer looking compared to the plain design of the 23

 

HMM... I don't believe so (and I've seen a couple 23's in person and online). What looks different? (by "the same" I'm referring to the stitching pattern, etc)

My 23 110X does not have the vertical stripes. So its either an additional option now or like the larger screen and interactive display, it comes down to what they have in stock when your vehicle is built.

 

23 defenders look disappointing compared to 20 MY models given all the missing standard features

the analog gauges are unacceptable at this price point. It’s not that they are analog they just look cheap
same with the seats. The older seat design certainly added character to the model interior and the new design is a step back

 

So true, there is no way I would accept a Defender with an analog gauge, missing standard items, etc.. So glad I got my D90 in 21 there is no way I could get what I have or ever replace it

 

That is wild to me... How can JLR justify on the fly changes on a 100k + car. I don''t remember them being a box to check etc. I do however agree, the stripes look much better than no stripes. Although I am considering buying an entire new Interior kit from Chelsea Motorworks
