Well, my MRSP was a bit over $67K, so I guess that puts me on the other side of the tracks in the low rent district. Be that as it may, I love my Defender, I love the analog gauges and the seats are just fine.
I just can't wait to get the freakin' thing!! I've been around longer than I care to remind myself (when I can remember) and this purchase as been the most bizarre experience. So many unique and strange things have happened to my order and the world. I've gone through the cycle of absolute excitement (have been following the Defender from the inception rumors), puzzlement (which is still puzzling!), frustration with JLR ("Customer Love" is an absolute joke!), spun around by the ever changing dynamics (truck content, pricing, timing), discouraged by some of the feedback here and once again, as the delivery date is now weeks away (fingers crossed) wicked excited. If this is representative of owning a Land Rover I am ALL IN!!
Now what is the largest BFG K02 to fit 18" steelies without rubbing !! LOL!
Love the Vintage Tan Windsor Leather. Have that on my 130 order with the Premium Upgrade Interior Pack + Extended Leather Pack. Trying to see If I can get the Light Oak Veneer with it, cuz my mother hates the new Oyster Windsor Leather, even though I like it.
Possible that they removed the "pleats" on the seats for different trim levels?
it does seem that way, family member just picked up an SE with the vintage leather and its missing the center strips and also their seats are all the same vintage tan whereas my x has black leather on the seat edges - odd they go to the trouble to upholster the seats differently

My Dealer did say that the X package keeps the two tone seats as it is supposed to be an apearance package. two tone seats and gloss black trim outside...
I'm not overly impressed with the vintage tan two-tone look in the Defender X. It's nice but it's kind of 3-tone since they still have that fabric border alond the base of the seats. The contrast is just around the perimeter and does not look much different than many other Defender seats that have had different fabric trims around the border like that. A upgraded two-tone seat should look more like this one, from a LR4
