Default Seat & Steering wheel moving when entering / exiting

I noticed the other day that my seat stopped moving down and back when shutting the car off.

The steering wheel is on "auto" and it seems to work. Moves up when I open drivers door. Then moves back down when getting in and starting.

But the seat - it's as if this function stopped working. I kind of miss the functionality. I'm 6'4 so it helps me get my legs out from under the steering wheel - any ideas?

This was I believe called "lazy entry" on my older Rovers (LR3/L320/L494).

PS I did read the manual and all it said to do is put the steering wheel **** on "auto" (which is indeed there).

Two things come to mind. Are you using the same key fob as always? I believe it stores steering wheel and seat settings based on the key fob for vehicles that are used by multiple drivers. If that is not the case, then I would suggest moving the seat up/down/in/out then set it to your liking and reprogram the memory setting by using the buttons on the door. It’s possible they got erased somehow.
