Greetings Everyone, new member here. I've been lurking around for a few weeks now that I've decided to pull the trigger on a new 110. I've decided to go with an S model, but I'm a bit confused on the seat options.

Is it right that I can only get cooled seats with the Resist fabric, but I can only get the Cold Weather Package with the Grained Leather facing seats? It seem I can only have both if I go with the Windsor Leather? Which would stink because 1) I really love the Khaki, and 2) $3400 for the full leather is a big drop of cash.

I live 2.5 hours north of New York City, so the heated steering wheel would be really nice in the Winter, but I'm a big guy that runs hot, so the cooled seats would be really nice in the summer.

I'm torn. Are there any other factors that would help me make a decision - are the leather facing seats crappy? What are the rest of the leather facing seats covered with? Does the Resist feel like plastic? Does the heated steering wheel not get that warm? How good are the other items in the cold climate pack (heater windshield and heated washer jets)?

I can only tell you about the khaki grained leather which I’m passionately in love with, but I haven’t had them long enough to get much dirt on them; I did spill a couple of drops of soda on the armrest which came right off with warm water and a paper towel though. The steering wheel gets nice and warm quickly, the seats feel good but they look incredible.

To me it was no brainer to go khaki leather since I’m used to heated seats/steering (fellow NYer) and have never experienced cooled seats. One thing to keep in mind is that without the leather you get a plastic steering wheel and gear shifter which imo are a large step down from the leather wrapped versions.

All Interior's will either have an Ebony (Black) or Lunar (Grey) Interior Base, and either a Ebony (Black) or Light Oyster (Off-White/Cream) Headliner, and Light Grey, White, or Dark Grey Cross Car Beams, and a multitude of finisher types in neoprene-like, robustec, or wood veneer material depending on trim/config.

 

My S has all leather/ leatherette seats. No fabric/ textile.

I may be reading what you posted incorrectly

 

Same and been wondering about this; I was under the impression that the grain leather was a mix of leather and cloth but I got all “leather”.

 

I have the resist seats and wanted to clarify that the steering wheel is "leather" wrapped, not plastic. Feels and looks just like real leather to me. Gear shift is plastic.

 

I have not found this on the forum, so please direct me if you know, but seems like "S" seats can have heated grained leather, but "SE" seats with the same grained leather are cooled also. Anyway to get an S and modfiy for cooling?
