we got a letter from JLR with code to give the service department, have our appointment set up in a few weeks to get it done. So hopefully, this is all resolved.

October Delivery of the 110 SE, so 4 month-ish wait.

My dealer called this morning and I have an appointment on Monday for the new fob. The rep said it takes about half an hour to program the new fob. At last! Its only been since June.

picked up my 130 yesterday both fobs givin at time of purchase

The dealer programmed my new second fob today. They said they had an issue getting it to work so it took over an hour. The new fob comes bare-headed i.e. you need to insert the second spare emergency key you should have received at delivery into the top.

My dealer said they were told to send LR a list of customers missing a key, and LR would be shipping keys to us (to the dealer) chronologically - But while I was at the parts dept for an unrelated issue, I told the parts guy what I heard in sales. He said he needs to place an order, which he did. Said 2-3 weeks.

So if you are waiting, you may need to be proactive and talk directly to parts.

got this letter this past week! will be nice to have my second key.

have not touched base with the dealer though to confirm they have the key… so no idea how far out i may have to schedule.

Hm, that will be interesting, I didn't get a second spare emergency key that I know of.

Well to my non-shock we got called that morning letting us know the package of keys hadn't arrived, and that since we didn't have 'the blade' for the second key they definitely didn't had that, so we got rescheduled.

Just got the call my 2nd key and rear bumper cover are in! Warrantied bumper cover was ordered when car the was delivered 8 months ago. Yeeesh!
