Default SiriusXM preview every time at start-up

Hi all,

Maybe I'm doing something wrong, maybe there is a setting I'm unaware of. Every time I get in my D90 and start it up the SiriusXM preview station begins playing instead of the last station I was listening to.

Any input is appreciated, thanks.

Happy Holidays to all

Maybe Android Auto is connecting your phone? I've seen something similar on mine, but not a problem to me. BTW, I have to LR's with Android Auto, so it's funny to watch my phone figure out which one I'm in.

I have an iPhone and don’t use Bluetooth or connect my iPhone in any way to my Defender. The issue is either SiriusXM or a setting in the Defender.

Has something like recent software upgrade signed you out of your account? I had the same Sirius issue happen for a short time, and if I remember right I was signed out of the account for some reason (I hadn't intentionally logged out). Signing back in did seem to help. If you do seem to be logged in, try logging off and in again.

Hi,

I was signed in, I just checked. I tried signing out then signed back in by simply selecting my profile name. I’ll see if that helps. I was on the phone with SiriusXM for nearly an hour today, it’s definitely an issue with the Defender software or satellite radio in the Defender. I am running the latest Defender software OS 3.0.0

For some reason when I added the Defender to my Sirius account it still required me to use the free trial. A week or so before the free trial ended, my car would tune to the preview channel when I started it. Once the trial ended and it switched over to paid service it no longer started up at the preview channel.

I'm the first one that had this happen in this forum. After driving it a few times the Xm finally installed properly. You just have to click the few times it asks you. It's related to the software update.
