Hey guys I am having a tough time with one. I own a 1997 disco. two days ago coming home, holding 1 speed the truck engine died i stepped on the gas and it caught it and it came right back i pulled up to a stop sign and it died, put it in nuetral and it started right back up. then i was coasting at 25 mph and the rpms went up to 3k and stayed there till i put it in park and reved the engine to 4k then it came back down but slowly. I changed the vacuum lines and now the intermediate revving seems to have stopped. but now it starts spuratically. when it starts if you turn the radio on or the lights ot blinkers the rpm,s bounce from 500 to 1500. any ideas what i should start looking at. right now i'm chasing ground wires but havent found anything yet.
