Default Skid plate..black or silver?

Folks I’d like to add a skid plate to my 110, mainly for the easier access to the front tow hook.
i can’t decide to go with black and maintain the current look or switch to silver which may help bring the other silver pieces together.
Anyone have a good photo of their silver skid plate….bonus points if it is Tasman Blue.😉
Or can someone photoshop this picture?
Thanks

Silver on the Tasman. I'm on my second plate. They bash well.

Perfect, thank you, It looks good.👍
As I suspected it carries the silver down and flows.
Did you get the Genuine one or the lesser aftermarket that does not require bumper removal to fit?

Factory one. (Port installation). You get the beefier cross-member with the OEM but possibly not a major difference. The plate takes a pounding so every bit of strength helps I guess.

I swapped the first one out for a second one I sourced from a beaker's yard.

Main reason not to get black is when you scuff the black, it will show as silver. When you scuff the silver, it's already silver, so it's hard to see. My factory skid plate has lots of scuffs and looks good from a distance.

I have no idea yet how mine will look like when it comes, given the current obsession with the gloss (it's going to look pretty silly outdoors, I'm sure), so I toyed with the idea of covering the undershield with Plasti Dip if it ends up like an eyesore. It will not stand encounters with rocks, of course, but it is otherwise surprisingly tough. Comes in many colors, too; Camo Green will play nicely with Pangea Green, for example. Looks like I'm not the first to come up with this idea, too, case in point: https://landroverforums.com/forum/di...le-cans-75186/

...or truck bed liner.
