Default Softex Material - Questions

What are folks on the forum using to protect and dress the softex material used around the dash, on the doors under the windows, and on the armrests?

I have a little fading from where I put my arm when I drive. Wondering what might help.

The material isn't softex - that is Toyota's proprietary synthetic leather. The Defender's interior is trimmed in neoprene. This is what I use to clean it, and it does an excellent job. https://psdetailproducts.com/collect...ack-collection

I put a light coating of Carpro Perl every several months and maintain with Carpro InterQC

Just to confirm before I order the Perl. You are using it on the neoprene fabric in the Defender interior?

If so, what level of dilution do you use?

I use the recommended leather dilution of 1:5; 1:1 for the rubber mats; undiluted for the tires. Again I use it about every other month and interQC for more regular washes. I’m sure there are some other good products but I gravitate towards Carpro.

For the neoprene I use these alcohol free, unscented baby wipes from Target. Someone here recommended them two years ago and I've been using them ever since. My interior looks brand new.

After cleaning with water, I decided to try a product I already own.

I used Chemical Guys VRP. I was easy to use, and the neoprene looks better that the day I bought the Defender.
