How is it I don’t need my key any more? My car starts and we go with only my iPhone and Apple Watch. That’s not supposed to be possible is it?

Have you lost the spare key under the seat?

How do you unlock and lock the car to get in when this happens?

 

Nope. Double checked the location of the 2nd key and that’s not it. Car won’t start if I don’t have my phone with me and will if I do.

 

Following as I would love this if LR has setup Phone As A Key. My Rivian has this and it’s great (when it works - carry a spare card key in case it fails)

 

Do you have an activity key and perhaps that's in the Defender? There's no phone as a key, and even if there were, they would require specific setup between the vehicle and the phone and usually setting up backup passcodes in case your phone becomes inaccessible etc.
