You'd be adding weight and substantially increasing leverage. I'd imagine that the door hinges would sag (just like they did on old Defenders when people added heavy off-road wheels and tires to the standard mount.

I agree that it's perfectly feasible, but I predict you'd be back on here in 6-9 months asking why your rear door doesn't close properly.

I rotated my tires last weekend and each wheel and tire (steel 18" wheels plus factory Goodyear wranglers) weighs about 75 lbs and the safe weight limit of the door is reported to be 42kg (~92 lbs) - https://landroverforums.com/forum/20...-limit-112145/

Personally I wouldn't mess with adding too much weight and leverage - but there are plenty of people who disagree with me and you can see pics of them loading another 100lbs or so on top of their heavy spare wheel and tire

Hey Hector - Where did you source your rack mounting hardware, especially the mounts for you spare? (Actually, everything. Really like that set up.)
