Just recieved my sPOD BantamX, and was wondering if anyone had clever install pics for the under hood module. Trying to decide where to put it, and thought the group here might have some good ideas/solutions.

 

On top of the fuse box

 

I ended up on top of the fuse box as well, but I wanted to be able to more easily remove the fuse box. I ended up making a mounting plate for the bottom of the sPOD and mounting it to the fuse box with industrial velcro just to keep it from bouncing around. Maybe not the most elegant solution I've ever come up with, but I think it will work.

 

Any other ideas or options that have been done? I just looked at the fuse box location and am not convinced I like that. The only way to add wiring would be to remove it and there is no room to get to it u see there. Also would have to remove to access fuses. Was thinking about making a Mount for inside the engine compartment. Hoping to get some more ideas.

 

Decided in the end to try and use the Saltek switch pros Mount. Had to modify some to make it work but it is in and working. Cutting the controller mount isn’t perfectly clean but it does not matter as it doesn’t show. From the cab it looks great.
