Perhaps hardly anyone worldwide actually has experience with the plastic wheel.

I think I'd regret spending this much on a vehicle if the main physical point of contact with the vehicle feels cheap.
Yes, US. Ordered in April, received in early July.

The AUS makret is one of the only markets offering the plastic steering wheel. if you watch a couple AU Youtube video the reviewer is normally reviewing the base model. They discuss the steering wheel in-depth. I don't remember the names of video but Cruisemaster maybe one

Thanks, that's useful to know. My current car (Audi A5) has a great interior, so I am hesitant about the step down to the Defender (in base form - plastic wheel, cloth manually adjustable seats, etc).

Thanks, that's really useful for me to hear. The sweatyness is my main concern!

It'd probably cost as much to get it re-upholstered aftermarket as it would for me to just pay the for the upgrade to the leather wheel with mandatory cold climate pack.

Thanks, I'll try to take a look. I did notice the Cars Guide YouTube review was a base model, but it didn't have the non-stitched steering wheel.
