Is the standard plastic steering wheel OK?
Is that in the US?
I noticed the P300 comes with a leather wheel in the UK too.
Perhaps hardly anyone worldwide actually has experience with the plastic wheel.
I think I'd regret spending this much on a vehicle if the main physical point of contact with the vehicle feels cheap.

The AUS makret is one of the only markets offering the plastic steering wheel. if you watch a couple AU Youtube video the reviewer is normally reviewing the base model. They discuss the steering wheel in-depth. I don't remember the names of video but Cruisemaster maybe one
Thanks, that's useful to know. My current car (Audi A5) has a great interior, so I am hesitant about the step down to the Defender (in base form - plastic wheel, cloth manually adjustable seats, etc).
It'd probably cost as much to get it re-upholstered aftermarket as it would for me to just pay the for the upgrade to the leather wheel with mandatory cold climate pack.
