Started with a 110 and realized you want a 130....or BOTH ! ?
To me, two Defenders would not make as much sense. I like more than one Land Rover but I like purpose driven differences.
For example, a Range Rover for "road trips" to where you have lodging, or into the city where with an empty roof, you can still park in the shortest of parking garages. Plus, a RR is infinitely more comfortable for long road days than any of the Defenders. in terms of ergonomics, sound quality, and other amenities including massage seats and even basic inboard armrests for the picky people like myself.
However, I am also VERY purpose/practical driven and the 110 is just too small inside seeing as I have been spoiled by the LR3 for 19 years now since I bought my 2007 and built it out for camping road trips - "overlanding" before it was well known in the US as "overlanding". In fact, back then, my roof top tent would get numerous "what the hell is that?" whereas now there are what, 20 companies in the US selling RTT's ?!
Anyway, who else started with a 110, for whatever reason, and then in a short time realized "WTAF was I thinking?!, obviously I should have chosen a 130 ..."
I am also happy to hear any crazy folk making the case for TWO Defenders, 1 as a "normal daily" 110, and the other as a 130 built out with RTT, awnings, etc, etc, etc. that is sort of like their min-RV while the 110 is used more often for either pure 4x4 outings or just basic needs.
A 130 for example, all built out with RTT and other stuff is not going to be as good as a 4x4 trail "toy", or even parking in city density, while the 110 in stock form, is quite good for all of that.
One could also go the route where the travel/camper 130 is on more normal tires, height, weight and the 110 is lifted, larger tires, front and rear steel bumpers, etc, and used for more "rugged" trips.
I am also aware that it is for sure a fortunate position to even be seriously pondering these choices.
For those who are curious, the RTT here is the Bundutec, largest model, 119 x 63"
I have the 110 V8 and a Range Rover LWB. I chose the 110 instead of the 130 because the RR is plenty big for passengers (LWB) while also having a giant capacity when the 3rd row seats are down.

Yeah, the LWB.... I've been wondering about that too. I would prefer one without the 2nd row center console stuff but I also really prefer at least the AB builds and now that I've been spoiled by my SV AB, I'd love a 2020-21 SV AB LWB without the 2nd row center console - which I'm finding is kind of a rare combination. Additionally I do not like having the 2nd row LCD screens LOL - true rarity with all those parameters.

Well... after a SV AB your only choice is build/configure a L460 and order it. But that would be over $200k out the door price tag.

I specifically would want no newer than 2021 for the engine choice so we shall see if I can find a LWB spec like my SWB. I did see one similarly but they are rare.
I have a 2022 Defender 110 P300 S that I built out for off-road and winter driving, along with a CPO 2020 SWB Range Rover HSE P525 that I use as my daily driver and road trip vehicle. I’ve driven both from New York to Florida several times, but the Range Rover—with the supercharged 5.0L V8—is an absolute beast on long trips. It’s incredibly comfortable, quiet, and effortless on the highway. I typically drive the RR to work everyday and the Defender on weekends. The Defender is what I use in the winter here in NY and the RR in the summer as a daily. Eventually, I will get at LWB 3rd row RR to replace the RR, the Defender will not be going anywhere as it is my favorite out of the two.
I genuinely love both vehicles for different reasons. The Defender is a real head-turner, an absolute animal off-road, and it’s taken me on so many incredible adventures. Having both gives me the best of both worlds.
I've had my Defender 110 for 3 years and absolutely love it. It has an off road look with ladder, roof rack, side box, RAI, spare 5th wheel, mud flaps, AT tires, and fixed running boards. I'm definitely keeping it.
Just ordered a Range Rover with the V8 which will be my new daily driver. To me they're different enough to have both.
My wife and I each drove an LR4 when our kids were younger. Best family vehicle ever, especially with the usable third row. Luckily our transition to a smaller Defender 110 coincided with our kids getting their drivers license and having their own cars. If I need a family vehicle today, I'd certainly go 130.
Last year we had planned on having 2 Defender 110's but the JLR cyber attack ruined that plan. Ended up buying a Mazda CX-90 Turbo S in late December. Drives and handles like my old Audi allroad and I love it. 340 HP, rear-wheel drive biased, great in snow, easy to reach the roof box and saved $40K.
