Startup issues?
Merry Christmas guys!
Have a couple hundred miles on a my24. When i startup cold, the car shakes and revs 1500 RPMs for about 10 seconds. Known/common issue? Am I screwed? Lol thanks.

Is it the air-suspension? I have that, and on certain days it starts with very high revs for about 10-15secs, then back down to 1000 normal revs.

So let's dig deeper.
Cold start, or at least not been running for 20 or so minutes?
Vehicle starts, then high idles at 1500.
While high idling you are feeling a couple "bumps" in the RPMs?
Then after maybe 30 seconds the idle drops to normal?
If so.. that's exactly how my P300 acts. It's the compressors and accessories turning on that you are feeling. I can almost count the the times it bumps like that, usually it's three times.
If you put the vehicle in gear while it's high idling it will slow the idle and engage the transmission.
I leave mine to settle down figuring some egghead programmed it for a reason.
Now if I'm wrong about those assumptions above I don't know. I just know that what I described made me go Hmmmm when I bought it, but it only took a few days to realize it's normal.

Drive it in good health.

Normal. When I tuned my own EFI system for karting this was called warmup enrichment. Higher revs and richer AFRs to warm the engine. Probably does many other things in a vehicle like build oil pressure, start recharging the battery after starting, etc.
