Default Steel Wheels For P400?

Hello Folks,

My Defender just arrived at the dealer, I went with a P400 in blue with the contrasting white roof.

I really wanted the Steel Wheels in Fuji white to complete the heritage look but they were not an available option with the P400.

Can anyone offer any insight into fitment, with the 18" wheel fit the P400 (do they offer enough clearance for the brakes, etc).

Also, my dealer does not know when they would be able to source a set so I would be open to an aftermarket option in a traditional steel setup.

Thanks!

Who knows? These just came out and I've never heard of a 18" steel wheel for a LR.

I'll ask when I'm picking mine up next week. I was kinda thinking about getting a back up set also. Usually steelies aren't very expensive but OEM Land Rover parts may be a little high? I'll try and find out.

The good news, they show on the website:

https://accessories.landrover.com/us...e-fuji-white/#

no word on availability and compatibility.

Nice. Only $390 a wheel, that’s pocket change.

As of now, 18" rims will not fit the P400, smallest you can go is 19". Images show a 'knuckle extender' for the P400 brakes that prevent current fitment of 18" rims.

I would stick with the 20" there is more options in tires than 19" offers

Do you plan on going off road to hit trails or just like the looks of the white steelies?

most steel wheels in 20” will come in black and are for style because no on goes off road in 20s seriously, so if you want white maybe dip or paint them. Fast is no good off road either.

The brakes necessary for the extra torque of the P400 cannot fit within the 18" rims, so to have off-road tires, you need to choose 20" wheels. If you choose 19", they will fit over the brakes, but no off-road tires are available for that size.
