Steering wheel vertical play - normal?
My steering wheel is perfectly stable when it is in the fully retracted position (away from the driver).
In the fully extended position, there seems to be a bit of play in the entire column, up-and down, maybe 1cm.
No play side to side.
Retracting it isn't perfectly smooth and seems to wobble a bit going in.
Very minor, but I noticed it when I was leaning on it a bit to climb in.
I am just getting to know this defender, maybe its like this for everyone.
Just wondering if anyone (or everyone) else has this issue.
Its a 2023 V8 Defender 110, under warranty, I will get it checked out if I am the only one.
Thanks!

Yeah, that’s not normal. My Defender has the manual steering column, but my Discovery HSE Luxury had the electronic column and I had this same issue. I had it fixed under warranty and it never was a problem again after that.
