I have had a decent run with the Geolanders. I have had great performance on and off road with them and they have done well in the mud and while doing work around the farm. They do have that typical MT rumble and wear quickly but I have about 20k on mine ATM. I'd recommend looking at the toyo RT trails I posted. They are a good average between an MT and AT and have a 45k tread warranty which I thought was pretty nice.
I am having a hard time deciding which tire to put on my new 18” wheels. But I have shortened the list to 3 choices.
1.
2.
3.
my next question is are the tires on the defender load range D or E ? Let the voting begin.
Hector,
My experience with the Geolander’s are the same as the Goodyears. The sidewall thickness and composition is similar to that of wet kitchen roll! I’ve damaged a total of t of those two males through the sidewalls.
The BFG in my opinion is the best, however you will get a harsher ride on tarmac as the sidewalls are thicker, so it’s difficult to get a happy medium. Also, the BFG is not good on tarmac in the wet.
I’ve tried numerous combinations now, but have to say, the Nokian Outposts win me over every time 👌🏼

I run Nokian Hakkapeliitta on our daily driver (Volvo) and love them. So I just went to look at the Outposts and saw:
"This product is out of production"
Dang.
