Stuck in PiviPro 3.3.2... Not Updating
#42
I've been stuck at 3.3.2 since February, and it took forever for me to get that update.
I wonder if it's because mine is one of the few base models ever sold in NA that JLR either forget my vehicle exists or are punishing me for not opting to buy alloy wheels.
Connect to wifi every time I park and turn off mobile connectivity at the same time....

No, it is not you. I opted for the most tricked out model, the 'X'. I only got my update last week. I wish the steel wheels would fit. The stupid bright red calipers prevent them from fitting. Probably because you could't see them if you did, which would be quite a relief. For years, steel wheels were my choice for field vehicles. If you hit a rock and bent the rim, your geo-pick could be skillfully employed to bash it back to some semblance of round and rock on. Now chunks just break off the rim. The other thing, it was possible, not exactly easy, to pry the tire bead loose on a steel wheel to put on a Baja Boot Patch inside the wheel. Had 9 patches on one wheel in South Africa just before COVID.

I'm due for my 2yr service in the next month so if I don't get it by then, maybe I'll bother the dealership about it. I'm pretty interested in the 4.0 update with the Google Maps display in the instrument cluster.

Per the other thread, I was also "stuck" on 3.3.2 since February 2nd (early build NAS 2020). Yesterday I received 4.0.0, so 3.3.3 is not a prerequisite to get the latest version and... it's coming, have faith.
I wasn't on this forum for a couple of months, so blissfully unaware of incoming 3.3.3 or 4.0.0. My life was happier, less stressful, more productive. Forums are great - sometimes. 😉

Not sure if this is a factor, I was on 3.3.2, vehicle just purchased about three weeks ago. I had never signed into profiles before, this mornin still no updates showing - this afternoon I finally signed in with my InControl login, about 30 mins later I got notified that the update 4.0.0 was available - so I scheduled it to install later today.
So maybe also being signed in also helps for it looking for updates ? I'm not sure, but wanted to mention it here.
