Default Suspension auto access height

Just bought the 2020 Defender and it is the first Land Rover I own.

Is it bad in a land rover to auto lower the car each time i turn it off? Would it damage the suspension faster?

it is technically more cycles on the air compressor.... but I wouldn't worry about it. "Damage" isn't really the right word....the vehicle is designed to do this. Wear out faster, well maybe, but I bought the vehicle to use it's features... if I have to replace a compressor in 4.5 years instead of 5 so that wife and kids can get in easier then whatever.

note about access height... it rides rough until it gets back to normal height .. so in bumpy parking lots, I go ahead and just hit it back to normal height before pulling out of parking spots... otherwise it stays in access until you get above 9mph(14? don't remember).

I no longer have the option to enable auto access height. not sure if it was after a recent dealer visit or an auto update, but pivi no longer has that option.

My satellite radio locked up and reset it. After I reset it, the option to auto set access height was now available again.
