suspension : front down/rear up

suspension : front down/rear up
Hello everyone.
I've got a question about my defender.
As you can see the above pics, after I parked my car, the front goes down and rear up.
I thought it could cause some damage on suspension so I asked it to LR service about this issue. And this issue, front down rear up, keeps until next ignition.
They answered, it is an auto suspension access option for an easy getting on and off. So I asked again. does it have to move up and down both of front and rear? Also they said it works only front side, not rear side.
Is it true? Is your defender same to mine?
Please let me know what is truth.

Mmm interesting. Not sure about the Defender, but the Disco 5 does have auto access height which lowers the car automatically (if enabled) when stopped and a seatbelt unbuckles, but it does so both front and back. dropping the front and raising the back does not seem logical to me.
See link for Access Height in the Defender. https://www.ownerinfo.landrover.com/.../proc/G2389184

I have never seen such behavior on my 2020 P300 Defender or my 2011 LR4, in any condition.
I propose it will not hurt your vehicle, assuming when you start it the levels equalize appropriately. But, at the same time, I believe some part of the system is askew.
If the person from JLR who said this is normal actually said that when he/she saw the vehicle or the pictures, you should find the manager of the service department and see if he agrees. If he/she does, you should consider another dealer.
I am very interested to read others' responses .....
