Hoping someone can help answer this as the dealer just quoted me $20,000 AUD to make this change. I want to change my wheel choice from the 20 inch 5098 to the 22 inch 5098 - the car has been built, but hasn't arrived yet. I asked the dealer to quote me for the bigger rims and if we could do a swap on arrival and I pay the difference. Reason for the $20,000 price tag was that I would need to change the calipers and discs to accommodate the bigger rims. I've never had a problem doing an increase in rim size on other cars, can't understand why I would with the Defender. Anyone had this experience? And yes, I do realise most people are looking to downsize their wheel size for offroading, we already have an offroad car and don't need that from this car.
