I just installed the following:
FrontRunner rack OEM rails version. This version does not require removing the roof rails. I am assuming this is the same as the roof rails are required for the ladder and lunch box. - working alone it took me an hour to assemble the rack and a couple of hours to install. Note - this was working alone.
Ladder and lunch box - 2 hours total. I could do it in half that time now that I know what I'm doing.

Dealer wants $5500 to install the bull bar in mine and I had to pass that is more than the bar costs including shipping. I don’t believe it’s too long just have to find out the hourly rate that they charge to see if it’s too expensive.

There are six mounting feet. The mounting feet are basically comprised of two parts. The part that attaches to the roof rails and the part that is attached to the rack. These are bolted together so I suppose you could unbolt them and leave the roof rails mounts in place.
You’d need two people or a hoist. The rack weight is approximately 70lbs.
I've also got my eye on the front runner rack version for the OEM rails. My issue with any roof storage option is the clearance day to day. I'll need to have it off unless I'm camping.
if the mounting feet are left in place, are they taller than the fin antenna?

I’ll check for you tomorrow
Thanks very much. Would that height measurement for the support be with the “fixed” portion of the foot only (I understand the foot is two pieces bolted together - it struck me that one could perhaps unbolt the supports and leave the “top” half connected to the rack when it’s removed - maybe that would save a centimeter or two, but maybe not).
