Default Tinted windows on the 2020/1 D110?

Does anyone have recommendations on where I should go to get a 15% tint applied to my front windows in my 2021 Defender 110. I live in Northern NJ.

I plan to use my vehicle for cross-country overlanding, and anything I can do to conceal the contents of my Defender from potential theft, I would like to do.

Thanks!

Factory tint measured out to around 23% at my installer. I did the fronts at 20% to get closest match. Same as all other rigs I’ve tinted.

Interesting. Thanks for the tip regarding 23% tint. Actually, I'm not entirely sure what is legal in my state for front windows, so I should probably find out. Where did you go to get the tint applied?

here ya go https://www.tinting-laws.com/new-jersey/

I tint for a living. The factory privacy glass on these is light compared to the older trucks and SUV's. My wife's measured out to 26% before I tinted them. I put 5% over the factory dyed glass and 35% on the front doors, legal here in NC.

Default tint

it’s amazing how tech advances. just last year the tint shops did not have the tool to determine factory tint. was a guessing game to match.

i ended up with a 22% ceramic front to match the rears it’s pretty much spot on. it is illegal to tint front windows in my state but after many of my cars tinted the officers just need to be able to see if your seat belt is on through the tint as well as any movement in the car. if that is achievable normally they won’t mess with you unless they are A-holes
