Trailer Hitch

Trailer Hitch
I'm looking for options to add a trailer hitch to my 2022 110. Is going through the dealership my only option or do 3rd parties offer hitches for the new Defender? Curious how much I can expect to spend on parts and labor. Please post pics if you have added a hitch post-purchase. Thanks!

I have been told that there are no 3rd party options for adding a trailer hitch as the new Defender is ‘too new’ and 3rd parties haven’t developed any after market hitch.
Going OEM will include the electronics necessary to tow a trailer but it’s $$$ to have the dealer install.

Alternatively, if you are handy, installation of the hitch and its wiring is straightforward and you have the videos from PowerfulUKLtd which will help you.
Enjoy !

I bought my 2022 off of the lot. Someone had ordered it without the trailer hitch. I paid the dealer to order and install one. You could save almost $500 by not getting the drawbar. I had plenty of those laying around in the garage and I didn’t notice it on the parts list. It is a nice drawbar though. This included the tow hooks which I wanted and they look great. It does a great job of hauling my Scout 221 Winyah Bay boat.

$468 for a draw bar!?! WTF!! I would have handed it back across the counter and asked for a refund for that.
Whew. I will gladly pay a premium for Land Rover products that I drive with pride. But come on. That's about as common as it gets in the towing biz. This is a prime example of sliding something into the bill hoping no one notices. I bet the majority of customers don't even know what a "draw bar" is when they look at the invoice. Thanks for posting this. It was better than caffeine at waking me up this morning.
