Seems like the trimming and relocation kit would allow for true 33s without suspension mods and possibly 34s with a 1-1.5 in lift rod.
Any thoughts here?
Likely going to try this in January when my defender arrives.
thanks for the write up!
Yes! In reality just some molding with a a heat gun can do the trick to fit 33s. Sometimes a bit of trimming but you wont need to do the relocation. With the relocation, we've been able to fit 35s on just a 1.5 inch lift. We are prepping a short video on how to do the trimming for that so it should be out on youtube soon. Here's one we did recently.
What happens when you turn the wheels to the max? Also, have you checked there is no rubbing when off roading over uneven terrain, especially when one wheel is fully articulated?
Great looking Defender!

it's on access mode and absolutely no rubbing.
If you don't mind, what's the tire size here?
Long story short, eventually going to relocate coolers and fit larger tires. For the time being, I have a set of the LR County Pack 20's to throw on and I need to pick tires. Running a 1" rod lift now (just got a GAP tool so I can go whatever height though), not afraid to trim anything, but would like to know max size for my tire selection. I know all tires are a bit different, but after seeing this pic and having run the KO2 on several vehicles, would love to know the size.
Long story not as short, we're moving from San Antonio to Nashville next month and I promised the wife I'd be sensible on the tires for a few months. We need to tow 4 trailers there, plus driving to Pittsburgh for holidays with the family, so the 110 is going to see about 10k miles in the next few months LOL! After all that travel, it'll be moving into mod-time and larger treads...

I would also appreciate the tire size. Looking forward to the video! I'm at the mercy of the 4cyl which is why i'm landing on 275 70 18s... Do you have any experience with 34s and 35s on a p300 110?

I didn't have a chance to offroad this Defender specifically, but we've done with others I modified to fit 35s and have found the problem areas when fully articulated. I trimmed those areas on this Defender so it shouldnt have any rubbing at all even while offroading.
