Default Urban Automotive Body Kit for Land Rover Defender?

Was thinking of picking up the urban automotive body kit for the Defender 110. That said it seems like the kit is just the OEM front bumper, side skits, wheel arches and rear bumper painted from plastic to gloss black. In fact the only new pieces are the rear spoiler, light bar and rims/wheels.

if that’s the case would it not be better to buy just the wheels and roof and rear spoiler vs the whole kit and just paint the oem parts to save some money.

Not sure if this really is the case, posted the full body kit with parts below.

FWIW you can get all of these components from Ali Express for a fraction of the price.

Not sure how the quality would compare - but I've never heard of Royal Body Kits, so they may just be repackaging the China stuff. Not my aesthetic, but go for it if that's your thing

Hmmm. I'm not really a fan of the gloss, but It's interesting and a lot of mods for 6500.

My 2021 p300 doesn't have the spare tire protector, side steps, alloy wheels, black lug nuts or mud flaps, so those would also be additions to my truck. And, the kit says it comes with smoked rear lights and floor mats, too.

I haven't priced out the individual items, but the least expensive wheel option is 744 each, so that's 3,700 for 5 wheels, right there, which would make 2800 for everything else a good deal, no? I mean, OEM side steps like $1500, right?

Not sure I'd want my hood to say URBAN instead of Defender, though

I have the Urban Automotive kit on my 2022 D90 Carpathian Edition. It’s an original kit, purchased through one of Urban’s distributors here in the US.

I basically have the full Urban kit, save the Roof Light Pod. The total kit ran about $11k with shipping, plus another $3k for installation. Overall I am VERY happy with it and I feel like it has transformed the look of my Defender. I receive a ton of compliments wherever I go.

Overall fitment of the kit is excellent. I would NOT recommend the inexpensive knockoff parts from AliExpress or eBay. I heard fitment and finish quality on some of those parts are very poor.

Happy to answer any questions.

That is done right. Not exactly my thing but I respect the commitment to the look.

Default Rims on your Defender

Great looking setup!! I was ordering the wide wheel arches and have a question about the offset of the factory rims and tires. I know you have aftermarket wheels but would I need a spacer for my rims? I am thinking that if install those wheel arches it would make the rims look like they are sunken in. Thank you for any advice.

personally I think it's terrible, very poor design around the gas cap - each to their own of course. even though the part quality might be good, it looks like cheap fiberglass parts stuck on otherwise good looking vehicle.

You are welcome to your own opinion. I love it, which is most important.
