The Urban build is between street and off road appearance wise. the flaps work for me
The matte Carpathian Grey looks great. The quality of the PPF from the factory is excellent, though they don't wrap around the body panels like most custom shops do. They must use pre-cut PPF pieces and apply them to the panels.

I have a factory matte finish Alpina B6 (Frozen Brilliant Metallic White), and I have to say I prefer the Xpel Fusion PPF finish to the factory matte paint! The factory matte paint from BMW is very difficult to maintain.

absolutely Love this build. I have a 23' Carpathian, but my brake calipers came black...i think the blue just makes it special. I think I will do the same exact set up, except I originally was planning for milltex exhaust, but now I am thinking of putting that on pause and putting the light pod. Can I ask you what tires you put on there and was there a specific reason you went with firestone over BFGko2 or Nitto Terra grapplers or Falcon Wildpeak?

I just purchased a '25 D90 in Carpathian Grey with the satin finish wrap and I'm also thinking of adding a set of extended wheel flares; I was looking at the Lucky 8 flares ,but had a question relating to installing the flare over the satin wrap. Is the 3M adhesive tape adhering well to the wrap? Have you had any issues with the 3m tape, no longer adhering and if so what does it do to the wrap? By this I mean, are you able to clean 3m tape off the wrap and start over OR is the 3m tape adhering to the wrap to well, and just pulling away from the fender flare, causing a nightmare with the wrap (can get it off)? I'm reading multiple threads, where by the fender flares are no longer adhering and I dont want to damage the wrap.

The lucky 8 gloss extended flares come with a knockoff of the 3M VHB tape which barely works at all regardless of prep. Just throw that stuff away or you will regret it when it fails at the high stress places like the front edge of the front flares. If you use proper 3M VHB it works great.

I would be a bit concerned that since VHB is extra tenacious it likely damage the films when removed (presuming the acrylic adhesive on it is compatible with the wrap).

Youre getting there. You have the earlier discontinued spare tire cover, You have the old side vents. Version 2 is much better. And you need a better front lip. If I parked my Urban 90 next to yours they would look totally different. But keep up the work.

Just curious, does this vehicle have the factory matte PPF or aftermarket?
